Phases:
Assessment and Feedback defines the leadership role in terms of twenty-one key leadership skills. Feedback is collected from a variety of people including managers, direct reports, peers, and internal and external customers. This step provides leaders with feedback on job performance in a comprehensive profile containing individual assets and liabilities.
Six-Month Leadership Development Planning involves building on the assessment feedback in the first phase with a clear action plan. Partners and coaches provide online support, feedback, and evaluation. Self-directed learning takes place via the LDP library, listing books, seminars, and audio-visual materials. Finally, the OB team provides leadership development through experiential off-site.
*Exact timeframe of development planning depends on situational progress and overall organizational needs.
Re-Evaluation of Overall Leadership Improvement occurs after six months, when participant assess progress. The re-evaluation encourages motivation and accountability to change, resulting in a long-term impact to the organization.
